Whether your interest is the Scottish Paddle Steamer, Maritime, Rail or Scottish local nostalgic video footage. Whether you are an enthusiast, historian, researcher or simply want to enjoy revisiting many of the ships, paddle and turbine steamers together with accounts of places of days gone by, you will find something of interest here.
Of all the vessels that have worked in British coastal waters no type was better loved than the Clyde Puffer. Millions laughed at the antics of skipper "Para Handy" and the indomitable crew of the Vital Spark as portrayed on BBC television. For more than a century the sturdy little vessels, miniature bulk carriers of coal, sand, granite chips, grain and like cargoes, were familiar craft on Clyde, West Highland and other Scottish coastal waters. They entered nooks and crannies where no other vessels would, or dared not go.
These unique productions are brought to you by producer Colin M. Liddell, cinematographer and film archivist whose lifelong passion with Scotland's heritage and history provided the inspiration to document and bring these memories back to life. Experience and relive nostalgic journeys aboard our great steamers and ships, magnificent steam trains and more. Perhaps you simply want to visit your town or favourite places of days gone by.
Whatever your interest or reason, our aim is to provide you with a unique opportunity to revisit and experience past times and places and to rekindle those happy memories from yesteryear. Accordingly we are sure that you will find something amongst our list of titles to take you there.
